The NORIS Rosenoble Double Gold Gold Leaf is a premium, professional-grade genuine gold leaf composed of 99% pure gold at a purity rating of 23.75 carats. It is suitable for indoor and outdoor (transfer gold only) use.

This specific variety features a classic warm, deep-yellow golden tone. A coating against oxidation is not required if no mechanical stress is to be expected.

NORIS Rosenoble Double Gold Gold Leaf is available in booklets of 25 sheets, either in individual sheets or transfer sheets. Sheets measure 80 mm x 80 mm.

Key differences between individual sheets and transfer sheets:

• Individual: The sheets are loosely inlaid within 25 paper compartments per booklet. It is handled using a gilder’s knife, cushion, and a tip brush to lift and place the leaf onto prepared surfaces (best for detailed interior work).
• Transfer: The gold leaves are lightly pressed onto oversized parchment paper sheets, enabling easy handling by hand. It can be cut with scissors and pressed directly onto an adhesive base (like oil mixtion or the Instacoll system). It is ideal for outdoor applications and flat surfaces.

TIP! Transfer gold is suitable for gold plating, but gives the ambitious layman results that are similar to those of poliment gilding.
