This pébéo drawing gum Magic marker is an all-in-one masking fluid pen used to protect specific areas of artwork from watercolour, ink, and diluted gouache. It eliminates the need for standalone jars, brushes, or masking fluid cleaner.
This highly portable tool is ideal for artists and students. It has a 4.0 mm unbreakable round tip that is ideal for bolder lines, blocking out larger spaces, or for children’s crafts.
To use the pébéo drawing gum Magic marker:
- Prime the marker: keep the cap closed and shake it thoroughly until you hear the ball rattle.
- Press the tip straight down repeatedly onto scrap paper to pump and saturate the nib with the blue latex fluid.
- Draw your lines or shapes directly onto dry paper. The light blue colour makes it easy to track exactly where the fluid has been applied.
- Let the drawing gum air-dry completely. Once dry, wash your watercolours or inks right over the top of it.
- Peel to reveal: wait until your paint is 100% dry, then gently rub the masked areas with your finger or a clean eraser to peel away the rubber film and expose the clean paper beneath!
