Powertex® RUSTY POWDER produces impressive rust effects. It can be mixed with light Powertex® (preferably ivory or ivory mixed with another Powertex® colour) or EASY STRUCTURE, and applied with a spatula or paint knife.
For different effects and gradations, sprinkle the powder onto the damp paste. Powertex® RUSTY POWDER is easy to use and can be combined with other media. It is available in 95 g jars, and 455 g bags
To use Powertex® RUSTY POWDER:
- pour some Powertex® (preferably ivory or light tones) into a bowl and add RUSTY POWDER (10 - 25%).
- the more powder used, the darker the result.
- spray a mixture of water and up to 50% vinegar into the mixture.
- can also be sprayed several times on the desired object to increase the rust effect.
- leave to dry for 24 hours.
