GOLDEN® Crackle Paste is a thick, white opaque medium that cracks as it dries. It is available in various pot sizes.

Depending on the thickness of the application and due to environmental factors, the size and depth of the cracks, and the specific crackle pattern, may vary. In fact, this medium creates a controlled failure — the result is therefore unpredictable and can be different every time!

TIP! All GOLDEN® Mediums are completely waterproof after drying!

The GOLDEN® Crackle Paste dries opaque and matt, with an absorbent surface that is suitable as a base for acrylic paint and acrylic mediums.

TIP! If desired, you can colour it with a little acrylic paint. This can also compensate somewhat for the tendency to yellow slightly, which is inherent to this medium.
