Powertex® STONE ART Powder is a cellulose-based powder that can be mixed with Powertex® UNIVERSAL MEDIUM to create a light, air-drying modelling clay. Your finished sculpture can be painted with Powertex® pigments, acrylic or oil paints.
This Powertex® STONE ART Powder should be mixed in a bowl with some UNIVERSAL MEDIUM and the 2 components kneaded to form a non-sticky dough. If the dough is too soft add more Powertex® STONE ART Powder and if too hard, add more medium. When your creation has air dried (no baking needed) it can be painted with pigments, acrylic or oils. If you wish to create a leather look roll out the clay with a rolling pin or bottle and lightly brush with pigment. Powertex® STONE ART Powder is available in 250 g tubs and 2 kg bags.
