This ROHRER & KLINGNER Gloss Intensifier is a specialised watercolour medium designed to increase the binding agent concentration, lustre, and brilliance of ROHRER & KLINGER Liquid Watercolours.
The medium allows artists to alter the surface finish and depth of their paint layers without losing pigment strength. It ensures that highly concentrated organic pigments retain their full colour strength even when thinned.
To use: Add the medium directly into liquid watercolour drop by drop until you reach your preferred sheen level. Or apply it directly to your paper before painting to prime the surface and control background absorption.
Dilution ratio: For paper saturation, mix 1 part Gloss Intensifier with 5 to 10 parts water.
