Rohrer & Klingner Liquid Watercolours contain organic pigments with good lightfastness and beautiful colour nuances. The acrylic resin used as a binder is glass-clear and colourless.
Even when dried overnight these Rohrer & Klingner Liquid Watercolours can be dissolved again. The solubility can be adjusted with a drying retarder. Despite being semi-liquid the pigments are highly concentrated and therefore retain colour strength even with the addition of mediums. This high colour concentration can lead to the dried colours appearing bronzed when used undiluted, especially with the blue tones. Rohrer & Klingner Liquid Watercolours are ideal for wet-in-wet techniques. They are supplied in 12ml pipette bottles which allow well-controlled and hygienically clean removal of the colours from the container. Shake well before use.
