SAUNDERS WATERFORD® Watercolour Paper is one of the highest quality watercolour papers available and is suitable for all techniques. It is 100% cotton rag.

These SAUNDERS WATERFORD® Watercolour Paper Sheets measure 56 cm x 76 cm and have a handmade edge and watermark. They are acid free buffered with calcium carbonate to prevent discolouration.

This paper offers the best resistance to ageing. It is incredibly resistant - even erasing leaves little trace. However the sizing process allows for easy corrections in ink or charcoal drawing, or several watercolour washes.

SAUNDERS WATERFORD® Watercolour Paper Sheets are available in natural white or high white in a variety of weights and finishes.

Quality - I always advocate using the best quality products you can afford as this has a direct bearing on your finished work and this is certainly a top quality paper. As such, I exclusively use 640gsm Saunders Waterford paper, both block and single sheets. The heavier weight will handle almost anything you can throw at it and, as I work very wet in wet techniques [with plenty of 'scrubbing'], I can confidently recommend this product!
