Schmincke Acrylic Retarder 556 is a paste-like additive that delays the drying times of acrylic colours, gels and painting mediums and thus allows longer painting. It is ideal for longer wet-on-wet painting.

Adding approx. 20% retarder to the paint extends the drying time of acrylic paints by approx. 50%. Maximum amount to be added is 30%.

Schmincke Acrylic Retarder 556 is available in tubes or tubs.
