Schmincke BLUE Medium 2 (262) is a drying retarder for water-based oil paints: The oil-rich (fatty) painting medium is water-thinnable and allows longer for wet-on-wet painting.

The high oil content has a gloss-increasing effect and forms a soft elastic film. Pure Schmincke BLUE Medium 2 (262) can also be used for classic oil paints.
