Surprise Clay is a finely chamotted alternative to conventional clay. It has a marbled white, red and black structure which provides surprising results.

This Surprise Clay is a first class clay for schools, art therapy and ceramics studios. It is best quality and is suitable for many pottery techniques.

Technical specifications:

  • firing temperature: 1000° C - 1150° C.
  • fired colour: marbled red/cream/black
  • chamotte:25% with a 0 - 0.5mm grain size

Surprise Clay is sold in 10 kg blocks, sealed in airtight, stable foil.
