WINSOR & NEWTON™ Artisan WATER MIXABLE OIL COLOURS™ are genuine oil colours that look like regular oil colours and can be processed like them. They are water soluble, made entirely from modified flax and rapeseed oil.

These paints are odourless and offer high colour brilliance and pigment strength, with excellent covering power. They have a buttery consistency and a high proportion are made with single pigments.

The main difference between WINSOR & NEWTON™ Artisan WATER MIXABLE OIL COLOURS™ and traditional oil colours is that Artisan can be thinned and removed with water. Harmful solvents are eliminated so artists can enjoy a safer painting environment. An ideal paint for artists sharing a workshop, for schools and home workers. The paint is non-toxic and cleaning can be done with soap and water.

Great product but not british?? - W&N Artisan is a great product range, it does what it says.

However it may be a british name but its actually all made in France?
