The particularly thick lead of these WINSOR & NEWTON™ studio collection™ Watercolour Pencils allows them to be used like normal coloured pencils to work on smooth and radiant shading and blending. The artist can also use a wet brush to transform the colour into watercolour, to quickly create an original work.

The wax-based leads are wonderfully soft to use and can be sharpened cleanly. They are also pressure-resistant and break-proof. Ideal for sketching, illustrating, watercolouring and drawing.
