Gerstaecker Aquarell Classic Torchon Watercolour Paper is ideal for all watercolour techniques but also excellent for acrylic, ink, gouache and tempera. It is also suitable for coloured pencil, chalk, charcoal, graphite, pastel etc.
This paper is made from 100% wood cellulose. It is 300 gsm, and acid-free, surface and internally sized, contains no optical brighteners and has an alkaline reserve. Gerstaecker Aquarell Classic Torchon Watercolour Paper has excellent resistance to light and to ageing.
The watercolour paper offers excellent absorption and enables both delicate and brilliant colour tones. Thanks to the surface sizing, colours can be taken back so that corrections can be made easily.
TIP! For an intensive wet-on-wet technique, we recommend moistening the paper extensively beforehand to reduce the surface tension.
