Borciani e Bonazzi | PRISMA 900 Round Watercolour brushes — synthetic hair
These Borciani e Bonazzi PRISMA 900 Round Watercolour brushes combine modern, vegan materials with a classic, controlled painting feel. They are ideal for watertcolour and gouache.
The high-quality synthetic brush hair is an animal-friendly alternative to cow hair and offers flexibility, elasticity and reliable dimensional stability. It absorbs a balanced amount of water and paint and releases it evenly. Ideal for vibrant watercolours and precise gouache work.
The brushes are particularly suitable for decorative painting techniques. The robustness ensures they can also be used on rougher or porous surfaces such as wood or walls without damaging the tips. The short handle allows for direct, controlled brush guidance – perfect for detailed work as well as for even surfaces. This makes the PRISMA 900 a reliable choice for both beginners and experienced artists.

Borciani e Bonazzi — tradition and innovation since 1951!
The founders of the Italian family business Borciani e Bonazzi — B♦B for short — are brother Arturo and sister Wilma Bonazzi. They started their business in 1951 in a small craft workshop in the Emilia region of Italy. The name came about when Wilma's husband, the young Borciani, joined the company.
Today, their brushes are still made one by one by hand, combining traditional techniques — learned from local craftsmen — with top-quality materials, such as innovative, high-end synthetic fibres.
