Clairefontaine Paint'ON Multi-techniques paper Misca is made from fast-growing grasses (miscanthus) from the Netherlands. It has a slightly rough surface and is ideal for various wet and dry techniques e.g gouache, felt-tip pen and pencil.
Thanks to the white colour, which is interspersed with fine fragments of the plant fibres, graphic illustrations are given depth. The paper also adds a bold touch to pastel painting with beautiful powdery smudges. The pigment applied to the paper emphasises the grain and thus enables colouring.
