In mould-making, CREARTEC ARTIDEE® Form Separating Soap is used for pre-treating open-pored originals. It forms a thin separating layer between the mould and the impression material.
This layer prevents the impression material from sticking to the mould, which makes it easier to remove the finished object from the mould without damaging it. Once the negative mould has been completed, soap residues are rinsed off with hot water. The pre-treatment is no longer visible on the dried original.

Application: CREARTEC ARTIDEE® Form Separating Soap is heated in a water bath and applied with a brush as a creamy release emulsion to objects made of wood, stone, concrete, cement or similar materials. This perfectly evens out any indentations or unevenness in the objects. After moulding, the release soap can be washed off with hot water.
