A DEKA Iron-On Pattern Pencil is used to easily transfer designs or drawings from paper onto fabric, ready for painting or decorating.
To use the DEKA Iron-On Pattern Pencil:
- draw your design on tracing paper (or directly on the fabric if you prefer, but paper is recommended) using the pencil
- place the paper (design-side down) onto your fabric (like cotton, linen)
- iron over the paper for one to two minutes to transfer the pattern
- paint the design with permanent fabric colours to complete your artwork
Key features at a glance:
- temporary lines: the drawn lines disappear after the first wash at 50°C (122°F) on white or light natural fibres
- permanent if painted over: if you paint over the lines with fabric paint, they become permanent
TIP! Reversible transfer: for letters or numbers, draw them backward on the paper so they appear correctly when transferred
