DEKA Batik Wax is sold in 250 g blocks. It is a special mixture of stearin, paraffin and beeswax. It is used in the traditional Batik technique to create patterns on fabric by acting as a dye resist, blocking dye from certain areas.

The DEKA Batik Wax should be applied in molten form with tools like brushes or tjantings and is suitable for natural fabrics like silk, allowing for intricate designs that can reveal crackled lines of colour when the wax is removed.
