Esprit Composite Beeswax Pearls are an animal wax ideal for encaustic art, modelling or as the basis for bronze casting. The beeswax can be easily mixed with other waxes.
To make encaustic wax from Esprit Composite Beeswax Pearls:
- dilute beeswax the day before in a ratio of 1: 3 with turpentine
- add pigments, oil paint etc. as required
- allow to dry
- polish with a soft cloth
This pure natural-yellow beeswax is known for its high purity, steady melt flow, and excellent binding capabilities. The pearls typically melt between 62° C and 65° C.
The coloured beeswax can be applied to wood, clay and plaster as a decorative ornamentation or patina. Esprit Composite Beeswax Pearls are sold in 1 kg bags.
