Gerstaecker No. 4 KRAFT Paper is made from long natural fibres which are unbleached, giving this paper its characteristic colour. It is ideal for pastels and charcoal as the laid lines capture and hold the pigments.

The paper in the Gerstaecker No. 4 KRAFT Sketch Packs is 90 gsm and is similar in appearance to Ingres paper. Artists appreciate the raw and rustic nature of the Kraft paper which does not detract from it being an excellent Fine Art support. This paper is strong and versatile so has a multitude of uses from drawing to packaging and printing.

Versatile, eco friendly and excellent value - Bought for my Foundation Studies, a good value paper pack. Excellent mid tone support for charcoal and chalk drawings and I use it for this the most. If you like to do large expressive drawings or architectural studies I definitely recommend buying the packs of large sheets. I have also used this cut down for into smaller sizes for lino printing and in my ink jet printer for gift tag blanks to decorate by hand with excellent results.
