Gerstaecker Classico 2 Linen Canvases are made from 100% linen. The 450 gsm canvas is coated with a lightly absorbent primer. Gerstaecker Classico 2 Linen Canvases have a 20 mm x 40 mm profile.

The canvas is stapled to the back of the frame. The frame itself is made from natural pine which gives excellent stability. Wedges for stretching the Gerstaecker Classico 2 Linen Canvases are included should you wish to use them. Sizes above 50 cm x 60 cm come with a support bar, and from 80 cm x 80 cm they come with a single cross.

favourite canvas - I can't believe the prices on these canvases, even when not on offer. I use linen because of the weave and texture, but this is one of my favourites. Better than making them myself.

Excellent product - These canvases are the reason why I shop at GreatArt, and they are reasonably priced if you buy them when they're on offer.
The weave of the fabric is particularly nice, and I like the absorbency of the primer they use. I've tried many different stretched canvases from various suppliers, and this is my favourite.
