Gerstaecker Coarsely Chamotted Salmon Pink Clay is a coarse fireclay ideal for schools, therapy and the ceramics studio. It is top quality and is suitable for many pottery techniques.

This clay is especially suitable for the production of large hand-shaped products. Due to the special fireclay mix, Gerstaecker Coarsely Chamotted Salmon Pink Clay is insensitive to drying and shows good stability in firing.

Technical data for this Gerstaecker Coarsely Chamotted Salmon Pink Clay:

  • firing temperature: 1000° C - 1300° C.
  • firing colour: cream - salmon - terracotta - grey.
  • chamotte: 40% with 0 - 2,0 mm grain size.
  • water absorption: 1200° C - 6,5 %, 1260° C - 3,5 %.
  • delivered in airtight, stable PE foil in 10 kg blocks.
