Gerstaecker | Finishing Varnish — for oil & acrylic

Gerstaecker Finishing Varnish consists of non-yellowing synthetic resins and purified turpentine oil. The varnish has a high viscosity and is suitable for both oil and acrylic.

Before varnishing, the painting should always be cleaned of dust, then Gerstaecker Finishing Varnish is applied in a thin layer with a wide brush.

Processing information:

First apply thinly and quickly with a suitable varnish brush at room temperature to the completely dry picture surface.

Oil paints - after 8 to 12 months at the earliest

Acrylic paints - after approx. 3 days with thin layers, after approx. 1 to 2 weeks with pastose application

Close container immediately after use.

Store in a cool and dry place.

Individual pre-tests are recommended.
