Gerstaecker Retouching Varnish provides a temporary, protective film that dries in 24 hours. It is made from a non-yellowing, resin compound and purified turpentine essence.

This Gerstaecker Retouching Varnish is suitable for use on unfinished oil paintings and should not be used as final varnish. It should be applied in a very thin layer to avoid excessive dilution of the oil colour.
