Gerstaecker | Fixative — 400 ml spray can, 400 ml

This Gerstaecker Fixative is a universal fixative that forms an invisible protection for pastels, but also for pencil, charcoal, chalk, crayon, ink and watercolour.

It is ideal both as an intermediate and final fixative.

Gerstaecker Fixative has an alcohol base. It dries to a satin finish and is wipe-resitant, non-yellowing and resitant to ageing. This fixative is eco-friendly and sprays as a very fine mist. Spray your image from a distance of approx. 30-40 cm.

Gerstaecker Fixative is available in 400 ml aerosol cans.

Cheap but poor - Strong spray but not effective (i.e. work not fully fixed) when used from directed distance. Moving closer fixes but disturbs work (pastel) and colour change is more than any fixative ever used. Very poor product regardless of how cheap it is.

Great Fixative - I really liked this fixative, I think it is far better than the Winsor and Newton one I normally use. It goes on in a fine mist, rarely spurts out and dries quickly. The price is another bonus.
