These Giusto Manetti Gilding Cushions are professional tools used by gilders to hold and cut delicate gold or metal leaf before application.

Giusto Manetti Gilding Cushions are available in 2 different styles:

  • 63146 has a leather surface on which to manipulate leaves before cutting. The cushion has a knife support at the top and a non-slip grip below. Available in a 28 x 18 cm format.
  • 63147 is a calf leather cushion with a magnetic velvet windbreak shield which can be easily inserted and removed as needed. This feature protects the leaf from drafts, ensuring practical and safe use even outdoors. It provides a flat, static-free surface for handling and cutting transfer gold or loose metal leaf. Dimensions: approximately 28 × 18 cm.
