GIUSTO MANETTI Water-Based Gloss Protection provides excellent spreadability and adhesion on gilded surfaces, particularly with precious metals. Being free of synthetic components, it is gentler and alters the natural brightness of gilded surfaces less.

This water-dilutable, clear, single-component polyurethane varnish is UV resistant and does not yellow or flake. It is available in both gloss and matt versions (see item code 63131). Ready to use, it is ideal for professionals, beginners, and hobbyists. I

This GIUSTO MANETTI Water-Based Gloss Protection is ideal for indoor gilding, yet is also suitable for outdoor applications. It is non-flammable.

To use: Before applying the protection, the surface must be clean, dry, and free from grease and dust. The ready-to-use product should be mixed thoroughly and applied with a brush, spray, or pad, avoiding excess and paying special attention to edges and corners. After approximately 4-6 hours, apply a second coat. The product will be fully dry after about twenty-four hours.

The percentage of dilution, application method, and applied quantity can significantly affect working times. It is advisable to experimentally determine the most suitable application methods based on the substrates and the desired results.

TIP! Store in a cool, dry place, kept in its original container and away from direct light and heat sources. The ideal environment should have temperatures between 15 and 25° C and relative humidity not exceeding 50%.
