These Hiro Leonardt Copying Nibs DP33 are highly flexible, fine-tipped pointed dip pen nibs, highly regarded by calligraphers for their distinct shape and ability to produce dramatic line variation.
The nibs offer a soft, springy flex that easily creates wide downstrokes and contrasting hairlines. TIP! Because it is so responsive, intermediate to advanced users generally prefer it over absolute beginners, who may find it harder to control. They are excellent for Spencerian script, copperplate lettering, and expressive modern calligraphy, as well as fine-line drawing.
These nibs lay down a generous amount of ink, and work beautifully with dedicated calligraphy inks. However please note: they require high-quality, bleed-resistant paper to prevent feathering.
Hiro Leonardt Copying Nibs DP33 are built with a standard base diameter, meaning they fit into most universal straight and oblique dip pen holders. They are sold in packs of 36 nibs.
