This Jacques HERBIN Transparent Rollerball Pen with Converter can be filled in 2 ways, either with ink cartridges or using the inbuilt converter to fill it with ink of your choice from a bottle.

To use ink from a bottle, dip the converter into the ink — just like you would with a dip pen — and with a circular motion pump the ink into the ink reservoir with the built-in pump. Then screw the converter onto your pen and off you go!
