Lascaux Acrylic Adhesive 498 HV is a premier, conservation-grade thermoplastic acrylic polymer adhesive primarily used for professional art restoration, lining, and marouflage. It is sold in 1 litre bottles.

This adhesive is thickened with an acrylic butyl-ester dispersion, it dries into a clear, water-resistant, viscoplastic film noted for its extreme tensile strength and excellent age resistance

Lascaux Acrylic Adhesive 498 HV can be used for both wet and dry applications. It is water-thinnable when wet but becomes completely insoluble in water once fully dry. The dried film remains permanently soluble in acetone, toluene, ethanol, and xylene, but is completely insoluble in white spirit
