Lascaux Gouache is a highly pigmented tempera paint which is thick and supple. It is suitable for art education and art therapy, and for all creative painting.
These paints can be used on all absorbent materialds e.g. paper, cardboard, canvas etc. but can also be used on glass and plastic.
Lascaux Gouache colours are pure, luminous, lightfast and have great colour depth. They dry to a velvety, elastic film which is age resistant and does not yellow. The high pigment concentration means Lascaux Gouache colours maintain their intensity even when diluted at a ratio of 1:1. There is minimal colour shift from wet to dry. Lascaux Gouache paints have good covering power. All colours are intermixable and can be overpainted without dissolving in the new paint layer.
The nozzle top design of the bottles allows greater control when dispensing the paint.Your finished work can be protected with Lascaux Fixative without significantly changing the appearance. A detailed and extremely informative description of the product and instructions for use is included.
