As an established landscape painter, he was invited in 2025 to work in the gardens of Giverny, the very place where Monet lived and created his legendary water lily paintings. In the tradition of the Impressionists, Masmonteil developed a palette particularly suited to depicting moods of light, subtle colour gradients and atmospheric contrasts. The selected shades reflect the character of this revolutionary era and enable a vibrant, nuanced painting style.
