LEFRANC & BOURGEOIS Stand Oil forms a more flexible colour film than ordinary linseed oil. It is excellent as a lacquer medium and in the preparation of painting mediums.

This LEFRANC & BOURGEOIS Stand Oil is a very rich oil and therefore especially suitable for use in the last colour layers of a painting. It increases drying time and gloss, and reduces the risk of paint wrinkling. LEFRANC & BOURGEOIS Stand Oil is good for thinning oil paint, giving more fluid brush strokes. It can be thinned with turpentine or turpentine substitute if required. It is available in 75 ml or 250 ml bottles.
