LYRA Rembrandt art design Graphite pencils are premium, professional-grade drawing and sketching pencils. The set contains an assortment of hardnesses, carefully chosen to offer a broad tonal range, presented in a sturdy, protective metal storage tin.
The assortment allows you to execute everything from highly detailed technical graphics and delicate grey transitions (using the hard 2H lead) to deep, lustrous black shading (using the ultra-soft 9B lead). The pencils perform best on fine-grain and satin finish papers for precision work. However, the softer grades can also be paired with coarse, rough-grained papers to achieve beautiful textured and grainy effects.
These hexagonal pencils have a standard 6.9 mm diameter to provide a comfortable, ergonomic grip that avoids hand fatigue during long sketching sessions. The wood casings are crafted from PEFC-certified, sustainable premium cedar wood that ensures easy, shatterproof sharpening. The cores are made with exceptionally pure milled graphite combined with natural binders, allowing for highly defined, smooth, and consistent strokes.
