At the flick of a wrist this easel can be folded into a box so it is perfect for any artistic outings. The M22 Sketch Box Field Easel is constructed from oiled beech wood. When open it is 1.83 m high, 36.5 cm wide, and its base measures 74 cm x 1.10 m, with a shelf width of 2.5 cm. The closed box measures 44 x 56 x 16 cm. It weighs 6 kg. The box has a sturdy, comfortable padded leather carrying handle.
The canvas holder is rotatable and adapts to any angle from vertical to horizontal, and a forward tilt of 15° is possible for pastels. There is a 4 compartment metal-lined sliding drawer for storage.
