Michael Harding Non-Absorbent Acrylic Primer is completely non-absorbing whilst providing a strong bond and just enough tooth not to be greasy. It is suitable for both oil and acrylic paint.

Using Michael Harding Non-Absorbent Acrylic Primer means your oil paints will no longer become dull and flat because the oil has been drawn out. They will remain as bright and vivid as if you had just painted them. Michael Harding Non-Absorbent Acrylic Primer can be applied to linen, wood, MDF and other supports to produce a strong, flexible, permanent, highly pigmented white ground.

Apply this non-toxic Michael Harding Non-Absorbent Acrylic Primer in 2 coats. The first coat can be diluted uo to 25% with water to increase flow and coverage if required. Apply the second coat once the first is dry (approx 1 hour). This primer can even be applied over standard primed canvases to make them non-absorbent.
