The NITRAM™ Charcoal STARTER KIT contains an attractive selection of drawing equipment to give you a good insight into the exceptional quality of NITRAM™ products.

Thanks to its different charcoals, the set is ideal for numerous techniques. The sharpening block is the ideal tool for sharpening charcoal and other drawing media. Thanks to the possibility of changing the sanding pads, the block is durable and cost-saving. The set contains an additional set of sanding pads (grit 180).

NITRAM™ Charcoal is manufactured using a unique process that preserves the cell structure of the wood. This makes the charcoal less prone to breakage and increases its durability. It is also easy to erase and generates less dust. You can blend the charcoals with your fingers or a cloth.

  • 4 x charcoal sticks, length 15 cm
  • 1 x sharpening block
  • 5 replacement sanding pads

The charcoal sticks in this NITRAM™ Charcoal STARTER KIT are in the following degrees of hardness:

  • H (5 mm): hard, perfect for fine lines and details
  • HB (5 mm): medium, for drawing and sketching
  • B (5 mm): coft, for dark tones and shades
  • B+ (6 mm): extra soft, for rich black tones
