NORIS Ducat Double Gold Gold Leaf is top quality real gold leaf with a guaranteed purity of 23 carats. It is ideal for interior gilt: oil and water gilding, picture frames, mirrors and furniture (however it should not be used outdoors).

This NORIS Ducat Double Gold Gold Leaf has a classic rich yellow-gold colour. It is easy to use. It is supplied in booklets of either 25 individual sheets, or 25 transfer sheets (gold leaf pressed onto lightly greased parchment paper). The sheets measure 80 mm x 80 mm. A coating against oxidation is not required.

Key differences between individual sheets and transfer sheets:

• Individual: The sheets are loosely inlaid within 25 paper compartments per booklet. It is handled using a gilder’s knife, cushion, and a tip brush to lift and place the leaf onto prepared surfaces (best for detailed interior work).
• Transfer: The gold leaves are lightly pressed onto oversized parchment paper sheets, enabling easy handling by hand. It can be cut with scissors and pressed directly onto an adhesive base (like oil mixtion or the Instacoll system).
