Old Holland — yes, the one with the renowned CLASSIC oil paint — also makes a ★★★★★ quality acrylic paint: NEW MASTERS.
Only the very best pigments are used in the highest possible concentration and no fillers or extenders are used. The result? An extremely concentrated paint with extremely high tinting strength. That takes some getting used to, by the way - a little goes a long way!
The lightfastness is excellent, as you may expect from Old Holland. All pigments are classified as ASTM 1 or ASTM 2, or 7+ on the blue wool scale. They therefore have very high to the highest possible lightfastness. A 100% pure acrylate patented by Old Holland is used as the binding agent. This special binder ensures that there is hardly any difference between the tinting strength, satin gloss finish, and intensity of this NEW MASTERS acrylic paint and Old Holland's renowned CLASSIC oil paint. Moreover, there is hardly any colour difference between the paint when wet and when dry.
