pébéo ceramic colours are ideal for clay and earthenware but can also be used to decorate terracotta, metal, tiles etc .They are glossy and very light-resistant, and are available in 45 ml bottles.
For different effects the colours can be combined with materials such as sand, and when applied thickly can be inscribed. pébéo ceramic colours can be painted with brush, sponge, roller etc. They are opaque and very glossy, and are intermixable. Once fully dried the colours are scratch-resistant and washable with cold water, but painted items must not be immersed.
When painting porous surfaces a higher gloss can be achieved by first applying a pore-sealing primer. pébéo ceramic colours are excellent for mixed media work with other pébéo products such as Studio Acrylics, resins etc.
TIPS:
- You can use ceramic colour on various acrylic paints and Gédéo resins to give your works texture and relief effects.
- The pébéo contour paste can be used to create borders that absorb and enclose the ceramic colours.
- Clean brushes and pipettes thoroughly with odourless solvent or turpentine substitute and then rinse them with soapy water.
- To colour crystal resin, add up to 10% ceramic colours
