RESIN KUNST | XL Crackle Paste — sets

These RESIN KUNST XL Crackle Paste sets consist of 2 components: Primer and XL Crackle Paste. With the sets you can create exciting and unique crackles and give your artwork special depth and 3D effects.

Primer: white primer for painting surfaces and backgrounds. The primer adheres excellently to materials such as canvas, wood, polystyrene, plastic, glass or metal. It is not suitable for materials made of silicone. The primer is the ideal base for XL Crackle Paste.

XL Crackle Paste: the XL Crackle Paste is a structure paste for the production of crackles. Cracks appear when the paste dries. The thicker you apply the XL Crackle Paste, the deeper and wider these cracks are. A layer thickness of up to 50 millimetres is possible. This makes this Crackle Paste unique. The paste adheres excellently to the corresponding primer.

Technical data:

• 850g texture paste and 350g primer
• solvent-free
• do not store below 12° C object and room temperature
• store in a cool and dry place
• protect from frost and heat
• close containers immediately after removal
• clean tools with soap or water immediately after use.

To use RESIN KUNST XL Crackle Paste: Prime your painting or surface: Apply a thin layer of the primer, approx. 2 mm, this is the base layer, and then spread the XL Crackle Paste directly on this base layer. Work wet on wet. This is important because it is the only way the dried XL Crackle Paste will adhere to the support - without the binding of the base coat, it will come off again. Allow XL Crackle Paste and primer to dry (it will take several hours, depending on the thickness of the paste).
