Rêves d'Aquarelle | Watercolour sets — 6 x half pans
To respect the rules of the art and promote traditional know-how, Rêves d'Aquarelle has chosen to work with extra-fine mineral or organic pigments carefully selected for their origin, light stability, colouring, covering power and non-toxicity.
The pigments are carefully measured out, mixed and ground. They are mixed, crushed and ground with meticulous care, using a homemade binder made from the finest quality gum arabic, from Kordofan, and artisanal honey, an excellent preservative that enhances the luminosity and brilliance of the colours. The grinding stage is decisive in preserving the purity of the pigment. The binder and pigment become one during this long phase that creates the watercolour. The colours produced are intense, rich and highly pigmented, yet unctuous, fluid and easy to reactivate.
Some shades are pearlescent with mica. The harmonies in the sets are the result of a long process of balancing different intensities, luminosities and shades to enrich and give even more character to the palette of colours on offer.
