Saral® Wax-Free Transfer Paper can be used whenever you want to transfer a pattern etc. to a different surface. The paper is wax and grease-free, so it leaves no residue. It is sold in packs of 5 sheets.
This Saral® Wax-Free Transfer Paper is available in 5 different colours, suitable for different surfaces (see below). The paper is 30 gsm, and sheets measure 21.6 cm x 27.9 cm. The lines erase like pencil, wash out of fabrics and are easy to wipe off ceramics, glass etc. They can also be overpainted with paint or ink without skipping. Sheets can be re-used several times.
Key to colour use:
- graphite: suitable for all surfaces;
- white: for dark surfaces, wood and metal;
- blue: for screen printing, lithography and other printing techniques;
- yellow: for dark surfaces, metals and glass;
- red: for ceramics, porcelain (the red line disappears during firing) and for dark or bright surfaces.
