Schmincke | HORADAM® Watercolours — Signature Edition 2025

These new special Schmincke HORADAM® AQUARELL colours were created in collaboration with artists from all over the world, among others. They are strictly limited, only available while stocks last!

Unique colour shades were developed that were previously not available in this range, either because of the colour shade or the properties that make these shades unique.

These are the special new shades, presented in 15 ml tubes:

• 37050900 = Wild purple x Vitas Artworks
• A semi-opaque, granulating pink-violet, intense in colour and very variable in effect. Ideal for effective backgrounds and surfaces, but also for landscapes and, mixed with a little blue, as a shadow colour, e.g. for facades.
• 37050400 = Atoll blue
• A radiant, luminous, summery, atmospheric colour between turquoise and blue. Atoll Blue is highly lightfast, semi-transparent, with high staining properties. Used pure for colourful, southern water depictions, atolls and much more. It forms a complementary contrast to orange and warm red tones.

• 37050901 = Cologne bridge green x Dirk Schmitt
• A light, broken blue-green tone, pastel, highly lightfast. The white content creates the semi-opaque, patina-like character. In addition to patina surfaces (church spires, weathered metal surfaces, etc.), it can also be used for shoreline areas of shallow water, breaking waves or night-time illumination with cold light (neon, street lamps).

• 37050902 = Shadow grey x Anna@draw_better
• The cold grey-blue is a sophisticated shade that is a dense dark grey when concentrated and a semi-transparent grey when diluted. The perfect colour for shadows, especially on white, in clouds, on snow, in white stone architecture etc.

• 37050190 = Buff titan
• A very warm, semi-opaque, off-white/beige tone made from a single pigment that is very difficult to mix. Particularly suitable for depicting architecture, sand, etc. Also ideal for mixing: it has a high brightening capacity with a clear colour shift, as a warm white breaker and for natural ‘pastel’ effects.
