This Schmincke slightly absorbent Primer 2 (514) is an opaque white, lightfast and age-resistant primer for oil and acrylic paint with a mildly absorbent character.

The elastic film dries to a satin finish and is resistant to turpentine oil and water.

The Schmincke slightly absorbent Primer 2 (514) is characterised by the following properties:

  • can be diluted with water (10 to max. 30%)
  • extremely absorbent supports such as raw linen require pre-priming
  • do not use below 8° C object temperature
  • contains pure acrylic dispersion
  • can be coloured with acrylic paints

Schmincke slightly absorbent Primer 2 (514) is available in a 500 ml bottle or a 1 litre tub.
