This Speedball® AKUA® Wiping Fabric Roll is perfect for wiping ink into the grooves and removing excess ink from the surface of all types of intaglio plates.

Speedball® AKUA® Wiping Fabric is less absorbent and smoother and softer than tarlatan, reducing the possibility of over-wiping the image area on the plate. Yet, it is absorbent enough to wipe the surface area clean. As a result, prints have good contrast, fine detail, rich saturated colours and smooth solids without streaking. Speedball® AKUA® Wiping Fabric is made from polyester which makes it strong, durable and lint-free. The rolls are 10 yards long x 19 inches wide (9.14 mtrs x 48.26 cm).
