Talens Dammar Varnish is used to protect oil paintings. It is a traditional final varnish. This varnish is available in gloss or matt in different sizes.

Talens Dammar Varnish contains dammar resin and turpentine essence. Apply when the paint layer is completely dry (+/- one year for normal thick layers). It dries in a few hours. It can be diluted with turpentine oil, and brushes can be rinsed clean with petrol or turpentine. Dry varnish laters are also removable with turpentine.

N.B. May exhibit ageing effects such as yellowing or cracking over time. Talens Dammar Varnish is slightly flammable.
