WINSOR & NEWTON™ Artisan™ Painting Medium drying accelerator shortens the drying time of water-mixable oil colours by approx. 50%. It smooths brush marks and increases the transparency of Artisan™ water mixable oil colour.

It is excellent for glazing and producing fine detail work. Use it with Water Mixable Thinner when painting in layers to maintain the "fat over lean" rule.

Good Product but not 'Best of British' - MADE IN FRANCE! - Ignore the 'Best of British' advertising, its either misleading or more likely just a mistake!

All these Artisan paints and mediums are made in France. I use all these products and for past few years they all say 'Made in France' on them, you would this Great Art would know that wouldn't you?

Putting that aside, these are great products especially when you discover/learn what you can achieve with them.
