Awagami Kitakata Japanese Paper is a very high quality, tear-resistant Washi paper which is ideal for lithography, calligraphy, watercolour, pastels, bookbinding and restoration etc.
All Awagami papers have very typical features that offer the painter, printer or calligrapher numerous possibilities. This Awagami Kitakata Japanese Paper is a cream coloured 36gsm paper handmade from 90% gampi and 10% wood pulp. Sheets measure 43 x 52cm and have 4 deckle edges. They are double-sided, having one smooth side and one fine grained. Awagami Kitakata Japanese Paper is pH neutral.
